Vilas County Real Estate

Vilas County is in the northern most section of Wisconsin. It is part of the Wisconsin Northwoods consisting of five counties: Oneida, Lincoln, Langlade, Forest and Vilas.

Immediately to the north of Vilas County is the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Further north, about 160 miles, is Lake Superior. Vilas County is part of the Lake Superior Snowbelt which keeps it covered in feet's of snow each winter, making it ideal for snowmobilers.
